”To improve their output, lawyers must manage administrative tasks in a way that does not prevent them from focusing on the work they were trained to do. The following three steps can serve as a guide for lawyers looking to lighten their load when it comes to managing calls and appointments, keeping clients up to date and overseeing other clerical duties, to name just a few of the admin tasks that must be accomplished. Taking action on these steps can help unclog your calendar and increase the time you have available to grow your business and expand your billable hours.”

AI can provide around-the-clock services, collecting information from potential customers such as their legal issue, who is involved, what they need assistance with, etc., all via phone or chat, which saves lawyers valuable time during consultations,” Gomes said. “Implementing AI such as this can turn an hour-long consultation into a 20-minute one, helping the lawyer to operate at 300% productivity.

Because of the urgent staffing needs in many industries, many small businesses have reached a point where they only rely on one interview to hire. However, this is somewhat irresponsible of a company, as a single interview is not enough to accurately assess a candidate’s qualifications for a role. In a way, conducting a single interview leaves an employee’s success to luck. A virtual assistant company, such as Stafi, can help provide virtual assistants whose qualifications have been thoroughly vetted.

AI-powered chatbots are being used successfully in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, travel, banking and e-commerce. The chatbots typically engage with prospective customers in the early phases of the customer journey, helping them to determine what products or services can help to meet their needs. By automating this repetitive task, chatbots allow companies to be more readily available to potential customers and more efficient in using human resources.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance for any law firm to ensure the privacy and security of their clients’ information, documents, and evidence. Staff members will be responsible for completing forms, agreements, contracts, and other critical documents necessary to advance a case. Any mistakes made during this process can significantly delay the legal process.

Is Hiring A Salesperson Worth It For Law Firms?

Written by Stafi CEO, Raquel Gomes

Law firms have always had a sales function in terms of bringing in new clients, but that has hardly been efficient. Hiring a client intake specialist would completely change the model of many law firms by putting a more qualified, effective person in that role.

14 Things Every Small Business Leader Should Know About Data Privacy Regulations

However, amid the hustle of website design, certain pivotal elements are occasionally overlooked—and these seemingly minor details can wield significant impact.

20 Pieces Of Overrated Business Advice That May Be Holding You Back

Advice in the business world flows abundantly, but not all advice is good. Some of the business advice being shared could be overrated, trite or just plain unhelpful. While those sharing the advice have good intentions, they might not realize they are leading young, aspiring entrepreneurs down a dangerous path.

Establishing DEI Initiatives? 20 Essential Tips For Business Leaders

The movement to create a business environment that fosters both diversity, equity and inclusion is more than a trend, it is a vital component of modern corporate culture. While many businesses are committed to establishing effective DEI initiatives, good intentions won’t get the job done. Instead, establishing productive DEI initiatives requires strategic planning, actionable steps and a willingness to confront systemic challenges head-on.

Growing a company can be a tricky endeavor. On one hand, growing too quickly can spell disaster if a business hasn’t acquired enough resources or built a large enough workforce to accommodate the additional work. On the other hand, being too conscious of the risks associated with scaling can result in a business losing momentum in the market and a competitor taking root instead.

A toxic work environment can be detrimental on several fronts. Not only does it result in an organization being unable to hold on to high-quality talent, but it can also negatively impact the work being done for and with customers.

Online anonymity has become a rarity, especially for business leaders. Prospective customers and employees are no longer content with faceless corporations and want to connect with the individuals who are steering the ship. Transparency is huge when customers are deciding where they will spend their money, so how can business leaders ensure they are “putting their best foot forward” when crafting their personal online presence?

Recruitment and hiring have undergone a profound metamorphosis over the last decade, driven by changing paradigms in business, technology and workforce dynamics. These changes have made it pivotal that organizations reevaluate and adapt their hiring practices.

Many business leaders—if they are being honest—will confess that their biggest barriers to success come from within. Limiting beliefs related to who they are and what they can accomplish keeps them stuck at a level that is well below their ultimate potential. In many cases, these beliefs orbit around perceived limitations in the area of finances.

So many businesses all over the US are suffering because of talent shortage, here is where Stafi can be your go-to partner in looking for the right virtual assistants.

As organizations navigate the intricacies of a rapidly changing world, the quest to optimize operations, boost productivity, and maintain a healthy work-life balance has become paramount. Amidst these challenges, a beacon of innovation shines brightly: virtual assistants.

In this episode of The Grit Daily Startup Show, Sebastian Rusk talks with Raquel Gomes, the CEO and Co-Founder of Stafì, a company that provides entrepreneurs with offshore talent solutions. Raquel shares her insights into why entrepreneurs should consider outsourcing and leveraging offshore talent for their businesses. She explains the benefits of working with offshore talent, dispels common myths and misconceptions, and provides practical advice for entrepreneurs who are looking to start outsourcing.

Job-seekers, take note: New research shows that employees who are more “agreeable” make better team members. It’s a trait that hiring managers are seeking right now. Why are they looking for agreeableness, and what other traits are they looking at?

Diana Pereda, a mindset and business coach and the in-house psychologist at Stafi, believes this comes down to the pressure we feel. “Resilience fatigue is a recently mentioned type of exhaustion that comes after a prolonged period of having to stay motivated or positive,” she says.

Further, she understands that we may choose positivity as the simple solution, but life and emotions aren’t that easy – and can add to the problem. “Maintaining a continuous positive attitude is unrealistic and requires effort,” she notes. “It can reach a point when it feels like another task to handle.”

Aspiring entrepreneurs have a myriad of books, podcasts, articles and more that all promise to prepare them to take the leap to start their own businesses. However, experience can sometimes be the best teacher of all.

Across industries, retaining employees is just as important as attracting fresh talent in the current job market. For businesses to successfully compete for the best new employees, trends need to be studied and strategies need to be utilized. The ability of a business to tailor its work environment, benefits and growth opportunities to individual preferences stands out as some of the best ways to stay on trend and attract and retain incoming talent.

A well-deserved vacation has become a necessity rather than a luxury for many executive leaders. However, stepping away from responsibilities, even temporarily, can stir up a sense of unease. Ensuring the seamless functioning of one’s team during an absence can be a struggle, but luckily there are expert ways to ensure all bases are covered when away for a vacation.

It’s easy for an entrepreneur to feel like a failure, and it happens very often when things don’t go according to the plan. I recently felt like a failure when an offer to a VP of client success had a change of heart and rejected our offer after verbally accepting it initially. The lesson here is trust that things happen for a reason and there is a better person out there for the role. – Raquel GomesStafi

The numerous tasks and responsibilities that people have at work — such as responding to emails, scheduling meetings, cold calling companies, and consistently updating on social media — can wear a person down. “This is where virtual assistants can step in,” suggests Gomes. “They can offer solutions that allow individuals to delegate non-essential tasks and prioritize their core job responsibilities.”

Part of the reason it may be hard for some entrepreneurs to delegate is that they have trouble finding the right people to delegate to. Hiring someone new presents a huge new undertaking, as there’s not only writing the job description, but also listing it on websites and going through the hundreds of resumes that stream in. Vetting the candidates can seem like an endless chore, much less putting the finalists through several rounds of interviews.

 Losing The Personal Touch

When a business gets to a certain size and growth rate, one of the key concerns is scalability. Sometimes, in order to scale better, the business may start implementing processes that are more automated and affect the user experience in a negative way, losing that personal touch with the customers. As a leader, I would say never lose sight of that and always put yourself in the customers’ shoes.

If your business is expanding quickly but has a high churn rate, that’s a sign that it is growing at an unsustainable rate. Leaders should dig deep into the problem to evaluate what the possible root causes are for the high churn and make the proper investments to curate the problem. Potential solutions may include hiring highly qualified personnel or implementing new systems, processes and procedures. – Raquel GomesStafi

Tomas Alberio, project manager and director of operations at Stafi, said that the company is using ChatGPT to craft job descriptions, and that it has helped their recruitment team create engaging but informative descriptions for jobs that often have very specific skill requirements.

“People tend to write really long job descriptions and candidates reading it may not be paying attention at the end, so we need to make those descriptions as informative as possible but also engaging,” he said.

A wonderful strategy to generate good publicity on a budget is to form alliances with other companies that target the same audience but do not compete with each other. You can use LinkedIn to find other businesses and influencers with bigger reach and invite them to collaborate on a webinar, podcast, social media post, etc.

We congratulate Stafi for winning the 2023 Stellar Business Award for best staffing practices in Southern Florida. We reviewed a number of outstanding candidates during the selection process, but Stafi won by unanimous decision.

The most important asset for organizations is time. Unlike money, you can’t earn more of it – once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Today, organizations and people are busier than ever and, oftentimes, the focus is on money or sales without understanding the importance of managing time and how to better leverage the hours everyone has to maximize profit, effectiveness and efficiency for the overall business.

You’ve prepared well for your job interview and are ready for just about any question the hiring manager asks. But are you ready with some questions of your own? You should be if you want the job.

AI-driven technology is still in its infancy, and there are genuine concerns about ChatGPTs misuse, from plagiarism, bias, mistakes, and crafting sophisticated phishing scams. There’s a need for some caution with ChatGPT, but that shouldn’t mean avoidance.

ChatGPT is a powerful tool and, used properly, can provide HR departments with much-needed assistance. Is now the time to investigate ChatGPT-driven solutions? Demetrio Rico, COO of Stafi, a virtual assistant company, believes the benefits outweigh the concerns.

The US unemployment rate remains low, and companies continue to struggle to hire and retain talented employees. This problem has persisted for so long that many business leaders now recognize the necessity of changing business practices and experimenting with new solutions.

As a woman in business, I have felt the frustration of working with a limited amount of time. I was told at a young age, “It’s not possible to have everything.” As I became an adult and struggled to be a successful CEO, wife and mom, I often heard these words ringing in my ears.

What’s your New Year’s Resolution for 2023? Whether it’s joining a yoga class, starting a new hobby, or spending more time with your kids, almost everyone has new goals for 2023. For most, the biggest obstacle to achieving them is insufficient time.

I firmly believe that you can have it all — you can be a great mom, a great spouse, have a great career, and still have time to pursue the simple pleasures that make life sweet. To have it all, however, you need to accept that you can’t do it all because you simply don’t have enough time.
